Practical Information for Students

 

  • Start Dates 2014:

The Economics “Bootcamp” module will commence on Monday 1st September 2014, and classes will begin on Monday 8th September 2014 in line with the UCD calendar


  • Fees

The fees for the Masters in Development Practice are:

€10,300 per annum for EU students

€17,510 per annum for Non-EU students

Note - Fees include the costs of flights and contribution towards accommodation and living expenses for Field Trip.

 

  • Accommodation

Students enrolled on this postgraduate programme will be eligible to apply for accommodation at both Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin.

Global Masters in Development Practice Network

The TCD-UCD Masters in Development Practice is part of the Global Master’s in Development Practice Network. The secretariat for this network is based at the University of Colombia in New York. The Millennium Village Simulation is a web-based simulation of economics and survival for one family and their village in a sub-Saharan African village. The simulation was created as a study tool for students in Professor Jeffrey Sachs' undergraduate course Challenges of Sustainable Development, and is freely available to sustainable development practitioners and the general public.
