Zoology Student wins Best Biology Student 2012 for her Work on the Plight of the Bumble Bee
On Wednesday, 26th September, Sive Finlay from Zoology was announced as the winner of the Best Biology Student 2012 in the SET Awards, following an interview with a Society of Biology judging panel. Three biology finalists came to Charles Darwin House yesterday to be interviewed about their undergraduate final year projects, and Sive impressed the judges with her work on parasitic attack of bees by nematodes. The top prize was then announced at a black tie dinner in Kensington.
